Lately I've been playing FFXIV: Endwalker and I've been thinking quite a bit about the benefits of a slowburn story done in installments, especially since webcomics tend to span for quite a while. It's always going to be different enjoying a story as it comes out vs going through it all at once too, so pacing needs to be considered for both methods.

That said, I really enjoy Endwalker so far and it definitely confirms my love for the series. I do feel it rather obvious that this comic is a loveletter to jrpgs such as Final Fantasy and I had it planned before I got into FFXIV but it does make me think on how to tell this story.
